The bombing during Boston's marathon sent panic throughout America, and caused much speculation as to the presence of "terrorists" hiding within the country, waiting to inflict acts of destruction. It turns out that the two young men, brothers of Russian origin, have been identified as suspects in the planting of the bombs, and one has been killed in a shootout with police while the other clings to life in police custody. As authorities strive to get answers from the surviving brother, word has it that they are claiming to be Muslims, and again the term "Muslim terrorist" is being tossed around in the media. How is this affecting the lives of those in America who are peacefully practicing their faith? Is this new wave of violence associated with religion about to shatter the lives of Muslims in America, making them targets for harrassment, abduction, and imprisonment similar to what happened after the 911 attacks? What should be done to prevent religious persecution? Who is really behind the acts of terror that are intended to keep Americans in a state of fear and distrust of each other?
