Queen Mother Rev. Helen Sinclair, at 92 years of age, is still going strong with a powerful prison ministry that frees the minds, hearts and souls of the incarcerated and enables them to begin that journey toward inner healing and transformation. Continuing the legacy of her mother, Jessie "Ma" Houston, Queen Mother Sinclair has broadened the prison ministry to a global movement. She has visited prisons in Israel, South Africa, Cuba and other places where those held captive were sometimes political prisoners, and other times a prisoner of their own minds, simply torn individuals in need of love and nurturing. Queen Mother Sinclair gives insight into what makes her prison ministry successful in transforming lives and preparing men and women to reinter society as emotionally, intellectually and spiritually healthy human beings.
