Called To Be A Servant The Diary of A Seer Luke 10:17-19 The seventy-two returned with joy and said, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.” He replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. Mark 16:15-18 (New International Version) 15He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. 16Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. 17And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; Matthew 20:25-28 Jesus called them together and said, "You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave—just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." Numbers 12:6 (NIV) And He said: 'Hear now My words: if there be a prophet among you, I the LORD do make Myself known unto him in a vision, I do speak with him in a dream. Amos 3:7 Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets. I Samuel 9:9-10, 19 (Formerly in Israel, if a man went to inquire of God, he would say, "Come, let us go to the seer," because the prophet of today used to be called a seer.) "I am the seer," Samuel replied….I will tell you all that is in your heart. Matthew 5:17-18 (NIV) The Fulfillment of the Law. Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.
