    Okay, It's Finally Happening

After a great deal of trouble stemming from my desire to broadcast the show without a crowd of people hanging around my studio (okay, it's really my living room) watching TV, I can finally state with certainty that the date and time you see for the Premier is the time that I will actually be on air and doing the premier.

    Really...

I wouldn't kid you about that.

Anyway, tune in and enjoy. Or tune in and feel miserable that you are listening. Either one.

    I spoke too soon

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I've had to reschedule my premier to a week later (3/3).

I'm very sorry to my potential audience for the confusion.

    More on the Premier

Well, Folks, It's getting close now.

This Saturday, we are going to have the premier broadcast of The Dark Side. You only have a few more days to hold your breath.

The premier will deal with many things. The basic format of the show in general is pretty simple: I'm going to talk about whatever enters my twisted little brain. There may be a few things planned in advance of a show (for example, I obviously need to do the whole "introduction" chapooka on the premier, and probably a shorter version for the next 2 or 3 shows after), but most of the time, I'm going to wing it. Unless there is a scheduled guest, which I'll let you know about in advance.

This week's show will be no different. Given that the news changes on an almost minute to minute basis, it's kind of stupid for me to let too much be known in advance, but one of the things we're going to be talking about is this:

Dead famous people; why should we care?

Sound too blunt? Good. After the intros for the premier show, you'll understand why.

See you on Saturday. I've got the whips, but you'll need to bring the salsa.

Just a reminder: you can e-mail me about the show, suggest topics, or merely tell me how bloody brilliant I am at rev@mindless.com

    Hmmm...Mysterious Scheduler Issues part 2

Well, folks, I checked in today to try and pre-schedule some further shows. The schedule calander, however, still only goes as far as March 10 (my third show.) I'm not sure if it is like this because I've not gone on air yet, or if there is a glitch with the scheduler. Regardless, it should not effect the shows I currently have lined up. I'll keep you posted about further details.

The scheduling program is confusing me

Okay, I thought I had scheduled the programs right, but this morning, after having a little coffee, I realized that the shows were showing as being on an hour BEFORE I had scheduled thme, rather than an hour AFTER (assuing a translation to Eastern time). I think I  figured out the problem, so I believe the times listing for the show as of now are correct. I guess we'll all know if the showtime comes around and there's dead air for an hour.

  • Date / Time:

NOW it is written in stone.

Mostly, just read what I put in the last set of notes, but ignore the fact that it isn't definite. The show will definitely air begining February 24 at 6:00 PM Central time. It will air for 1 hour and will air every week at the same time unless I let you know otherwise.

    Oh, yeah, one other thing.

If you want to e-mail me about the show, or suggest topics or anything else show related, here's the e-mail to use:

    rev@mindless.com

I'll check it a few times during each week and I'll try to answer anything that doesn't disturb me too much.

Now tune in, or I'll have my legs broken.

  • Date / Time:

Set in...Well, let's say old oatmeal.

Hey you hip and groovy-smooth popular people!

Okay, I decided to post this here for now, rather than sending out the obligatory e-mail, since it's still not 100% yet (hence, why it's not set in "stone").

From the look of my schedule, and the amount of anti-psychotic meds I have left, it looks like the premier show will be on air February 24, 2007. 6:00PM central time. Since I'm a new host, I cannot book a show at 7:00 PM (Prime time, you know how it is.) I'm going to book that slot for now, but it is (at least at the moment) subject to change. The show will be on every week thereafter and will last 60 minutes (since that's the longest slot they'll give anyone.) I'm told, however, that it is okay to run over, up to a total of a 2 hour show, so if the show is popular, I'll keep it going beyond the schedule.

So, remember to call in, otherwise I'm going to get really boring really fast.
