Tit for tat. We expect our interview with Janine Bolon to be as real, raw and right on as when Donna M and Siobhan were guests on her show. Too long in coming this segment may be the icing on the cake that is this year. Friend of The Broke Wives Club and it's signature show, The Attitude Shift, Janine Bolon is a testament to the power of perseverance.  As an impoverished teenager in rural Missouri, ( read "broke" ) she launched several successful businesses before putting herself through the University of Missouri biochemistry program by working three jobs at once and selling all her possessions. In the past decade, Janine has completed her M.A. in Education, home schools her children, started another entrepreneurial venture (SmartCents Inc., a firm dedicated to teaching fundamental principles of wealth accumulation and financial independence), has written 5 books and teaches math and physics in her spare time.  And broke to stoke doesn't stop with Janine, we welcome Jin Robertson to the show. Her reps tell us that ,from Immigrant Housemaid to Harvard PhD Jin Kyu (Suh) Robertson has a wonderful life success story that can inspire and motivate practically anybody in the world, regardless of their race, gender, age, and country. Jin was born and raised in Korea. She worked as a factory girl, waitress, and a housemaid. At age 22, she immigrated to America to become a housemaid with practically no English and had only one-way ticket and $100 to her name. At the age of 28, Jin, a battered wife and a mother of eight months old baby-girl, joined the U.S. Army as a private to escape from the domestic violence. Through determination, imagination, and sheer will, later she retired as a U.S. Army major, received MA (at the age of 43) and Ph.D. (at the age of 57) both from Harvard. Korean major TV’s made documentaries of her American dream story which inspired and motivated millions of Koreans. She is now Korea’s most popular motivational/inspirational speaker.
