New technology and new media have forever changed the way we live and interact, and in the year 2012 it's hard for many of us to even remember a time without internet, much less social media and mobile apps.
Scott Mikus, co-founder of Atlanta-based creative marketing and design firm Crawford/Mikus Design, remembers well. When he and his wife, Elizabeth Crawford, opened the doors to their agency in 1989, the internet was still something out of a sci-fi flick, business and successful communication were predicated on face-to-face interaction and "thank you" notes were still written by hand.
In a stark contrast of agencies that have sprung up seemingly overnight in recent years with a focus on new tools and channels, Crawford/Mikus represents a case study in perpetual adaptation and reinvention through its 23-year history. It offers the experience of veterans and the knowledge and skills of tech savvy 20-somethings.
Join us as Scott talks live with Erick Pennington, host of The Agency Review Project, and discusses his road to reinvention.
