The Illinois Department of Professional Regulation is no longer issuing certificates of compliance or exempt certificates for mortgages located in the 10 zip code predatory lending areas 960620, 60621, 60623, 60628, 60629, 60632, 60636, 60638, 60643 and 60652). Therefore , the Cook County Recorder of Deeds is now accepting all mortgages that comply with regular recording standards for those areas.
