On today’s show, Thaboxingvoice’s panel will discuss the somewhat shallow weekend of boxing featuring a couple of smaller TV fights. A PBC on FS1 event from San Antonio, Texas features a junior welterweight showdown between Miguel Vazquez and Erick Bone scheduled for 10 rounds. This will be Vazquez’s first venture at 140lbs while Bone has fought as high as junior middleweight against Shawn Porter, albeit in a late replacement scenario.

Vazquez, 1-2 in his last three outings, is coming off of a unanimous decision loss to Argenis Mendez back in October of last year. Bone is in a similar situation, although he has lost two in a row. TBV will discuss the style matchup presented as well as the likely progress for the winner.

Shane Mosley is also in action this weekend as he squares off against David Avanesyan for Avanesyan's WBA interim welterweight title on CBS Sports Net. Mosley has said that, if successful, he will attempt to unify the interim WBA title with the full WBA title, who he will face will depend on the outcome of the highly anticipated Keith Thurman-Shawn Porter next month.

The rumors continue to swirl regarding a potential boxing match between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Conor McGregor. The panel will discuss the recent rumblings that suggest the fight will be announced shortly. However, it is already gaining attention from many celebrities. In fact, Sylvester Stallone recently commented on the potential outcome between Mayweather and McGregor. Does the panel agree with his assessment?

And, of course, we will be taking live calls on air from you the voice of the people. From Alumni to first-time callers, we encourage everyone to call 646-478-3068 to voice your opinion.
