On today’s episode of Thaboxingvoice’s live radio show, our hosts discuss every and all facet from last night’s plethora of fights, including the highly anticipated junior featherweight unification bout between Carl Frampton and Scott Quigg, which took place in front of 20,000 fans at the sold-out Manchester Arena. There is plenty to discuss about this fight, namely how a fighter can hope to capitalize off a relatively bad outing.

Fans and media have responded to last night’s Frampton-Quigg matchup in the toughest way, with “The Beeb” and Mario making claims regarding this fight’s massive potential, how will they retort those claims from last show. Nes, on the other hand, made it a point to question the very essence of this fight and how it would end up, listen in while he surely decides to reflect on the fights.

We will undoubtedly discuss the ShowTime card featuring Leo Santa Cruz and Kiko Martinez as well as the HBO card which featured Terence Crawford-Hank Lundy, plus both undercards.

Frampton told BBC Radio 5 Live afterwards: 'I did what I had to do to make it easy for myself. I couldn't believe what was going on when I heard the split decision - I felt I was a comfortable winner - but it's onwards and upwards for me now.

'I knew it was going to be a tactical fight all along and a bit timid but you have to do what it takes to win. I'm not going to rush into silly punches. You have to be smart. I was and I got the win.'
