It appears that the many more people of the United States are sick and tired of the Washington elite destroying the foundation of our Constitution. I am here to educate people about how we can take our country back without the same bloodshed that we had during the Revolutionary War. I will be talking about traditional family values, the common sense movement and much, much more, based on my research and other blogtalk radio shows.

Many of my family members and the friends I have known most of my life would probably be surprised that I am "getting involved in politics." No, I am not running for office, but I am keeping informed of what is going on in Washington and trying to make sense of how it is going to affect my life and the lives of my nieces and nephews. Yes, I am a conservative, and proud of it. I am not ashamed to say that I am a Christian, and believe that there is a Heaven and Hell, evil and good, etc. As for my political party affiliation, that's not the issue here. Politics is a difficult topic for many people today, but that does not mean that Christian conservatives should not be concerned about what is happening to our country. They very well should be concerned, because our freedom to practice our faith is in jeopardy.
Traditional Family Values
First of all, I've been watching the family unit being torn apart, piece by piece; parental rights are being systematically destroyed, and now, children are being given everything from condoms and being taught sex education in schools. Under-age girls who get pregnant can go to an abortion clinic and demand an abortion without the clinic notifying parents. President Obama has now promised "cradle-to-grave funding for their education. In other words, "Don't worry Mom and Dad! The government knows what's best for your children more than you do; so you can just step aside and let them go free and we'll take care of them. It goes without saying that the mainstream media and extremely liberal "elitists" are speaking louder than ever before on these issues. It's obvious of this because parents are not allowed to spank their children for fear of being accused of child abuse. Now, I'm all for child abuse laws. No child should ever be beaten to the point of death by anyone, especially the parents. But there is a huge difference between a basis spanking, also called corporal punishment, and beatings to the point of bruises and serious injuries. I was spanked as a child, and I didn't turn out to be a lunatic; nor did I ever abuse anyone else. If I did something that I was told not to do, I suffered the consequences of my actions. There were many ways I was disciplined, besides corporal punishment. And I still turned out to be a decent person.
Defending the REAL Definition of Marriage
To make matters worse, we have the left-wing liberals and certain groups (yes, you know who you are) fighting in courts all over the country to redefine what marriage really is. They are calling the vote of the people (defining marriage to be between one man and one woman) unconstitutional! Excuse me? And the courts are literally throwing away morals and siding with the "chosen few" people who are doing nothing but throwing it in our faces that they are who they are and demanding that we accept it no matter what the Bible says. I thought the US Supreme Court was required to uphold the Constitution, not legislate from the bench.
What's up with that? When I was in school, you were sent to the principal's office for being disrespectful to the teacher, fighting with another student, and you were sent to the corner or outside the classroom if you were disruptive in general. A student either did their homework or they failed the class and repeated the grade. Nowadays, students no longer have to worry about personal or academic accountability because the schools are being held responsible if the student drops out or fails a course. In addition to that, schools and faculty are no longer allowed to reprimand a student for mis-behavior of any kind. We were also required to say the Pledge of Allegiance, and no one made an issue about it. Today, we have the atheists and ACLU "foaming at the mouth about the Pledge of Allegiance all because someone added "one nation under God" to it back in the 1950s. GASP! How terrible!! Even when my mother was in school, they had school prayer. What is the problem here? I'll tell you what; if you don't want to pray or say the pledge, then don't! Just stand (or sit) there quietly and respectfully. But no! Atheists and other religious people (other than Christians) will not allow that! And the mainstream media is feeding us lies that the Constitution is outdated. They are basically standing up for evil, no doubt about that.
Our Constitution and First Amendment
Apparently, the Constitution that our founding fathers fought and died for 230+ years ago doesn't apply to us anymore. And my ranting does not apply to just one particular group or issue. It also applies to the First Amendment. The atheists and other "left-wing extremists" are taking the Establishment Clause and tearing it apart as well. It states the following: ["Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people to peaceably assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."]
The extreme left lobbyists are tearing apart this clause by only reading the first part of the sentence, and applying it incorrectly. They are literally attempting to change the definition of that clause and using it against Christians in the public square on a variety of issues, such as pro-life, marriage, and Christianity in general. For example, according to the Department of Homeland Security, I am now considered a "right-wing extremist" because of my Christian and conservative views. I don't own firearms, but I support the Second Amendment. I also believe that the United States is supposed to be a sovereign nation, and I am "tea'd off" at the spending by our current government under President Obama and under former President Bush. According to another blogger, Oliver North, this is a "frightening acknowledgement that political speech is being monitored in America." If the liberals have their way, Christians will no longer be allowed to speak out against homosexuality even inside the church buildings during formal worship, nor will we be allowed to speak out against gun control, the New World Order, Socialism, Fascism, and the like. Apparently, it's okay for the left to have their views, because they have the support of the mainstream media and many of our government leaders, including President Obama, who happens to be the most liberal president we've had in history.
No Common Sense
There is absolutely no common sense behind this way of thinking. Personal accountability no longer applies to anyone because our "brave leaders in Washington" have been indoctrinated into Socialism and Fascism. And if they have their way, there will be the "thought police" thrust upon the American people.
