Christie Asselin, the blogger and attorney behind YourWeddingLawyer.com will share tips designed to help engaged couples prevent and handle conflicts with wedding vendors. Christie has a background in business disputes and consumer law, and loves event planning and weddings. Her mission is to educate and empower engaged couples with legal know-how.

Christie has been a California licensed attorney since 2008. She has been seen and heard in many wedding and financial media resources, including, and most recently Slate.  Her blog YourWeddingLawyer.com serves as a resource for engaged couples and newlyweds as they navigate the challenges presented during these time periods. She can speak from experience as she is a newlywed herself. Tracy is an Alternative Dispute Resolution Coordinator at the Maryland Mediation and Conflict Resolution Office (MACRO). Tracy also serves as a conflict coach, mediator, and promotes conflict resolution processes through trainings, outreach initiatives, and continuing education for conflict resolution practitioners.

Abigail R.C. McManus is a graduate of the University of Baltimore obtaining her master’s degree in negotiation and conflict management. Abigail earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Stevenson University. Abigail is passionate about analyzing, managing, resolving, and transforming conflict in everyday life. She uses her education and understanding to resolve productively and efficiently conflicts both at work and at home.
