    Capitalism Isn't Working (and Neither is the Guy Carrying This Stupid Banner)

    Chris Matthews was in full leg tingle mode yesterday, barely unable to conceal his pride and joy over the fact that Barack Hussein Obama and his James Brown lookalike wife, and 500 of their best friends, are representing our country in Europe. “Omigod, they’re getting off the airplane!!! They are soooo good-looking!!! I might have to excuse myself here …" I have a slightly different take. Recalling the embarrassing, churlish snubbing that our Empty-Suit-in-Chief and the First Klingon gave Gordon Brown and his wife during their recent visit to the U.S., I realize that I haven’t seen a pair of no-class clods like these two since the King of the Useful Idiots Jimmuh Carter and his obnoxious old lady Rosalyn brought their corn pone act to the White House back in the 1970s. I certainly hope that they remembered to bring the Browns some replacement DVDs for the ones they gave them that won’t work in British DVD players, but the Hyde Park Hillbillies probably figure that having them grace the G-20 summit with their sainted presence is enough gift for anyone. Today they will have tea with the Queen. Let’s all hope and pray that they don’t forget where they are and commit any mortifying faux pas during their first visit to Buckingham Palace. Note to the Obamas: Please don’t give her any DVDs. $0$0$0$0Like the MS-NBC Screamer, the rest of the dinomedia is swooning and slobbering over the Obamas, bombarding us with a series of new polls that “prove” that a vast majority of Americans are as infatuated with them as they are. Their latest one states that 99.9% of us believe that Michelle pees perfume and that Barack has the power of bilocation. I’m starting to believe that last one myself, since he does seem to be EVERYWHERE ALL THE TIME. I’m sorry, 5th column media, no matter how much of this North-Korea style coverage of our Dear Leader and how many silly polls you try to substitute for serious journalism, I’m not buying it. I haven’t seen much coverage of this Zogby poll. $0$0$0$0$0   Meanwhile, as we discussed on the radio show last Sunday, not all the Europeans share our media’s love of our man-god president. This morning I saw video of one of the protests featuring the obligatory anti-capitalist banners carried by a bunch of hippie wannabes. It read "Capitalism Isn't Working," which ironically means that the angry hirsute unwashed angry protestors carrying this idiotic sign has something in common with capitalism, as it turns out.$0$0$0$0$0 Finally, on this April Fools’ Day, there’s this story: “Obama Orders Chevrolet and Dogde Out of NASCAR.” I hope it’s a joke, but would not be surprised if it’s not. America’s First Affirmative Action president has never been a fan. The very fact that we aren’t sure if it’s for real speaks volumes about what we know about Barack Obama, you know, the guy who said he has no desire to run GM right after he fired the CEO.$0
