TEENS SPEAKING OUT MOVEMENT AND PARTNERS

Teens speaking out movement and partners are working to built a better community through bringing resources to our youth.

Our goal is to give an outlet to the young voices of today by giving today’s multicultural underprivileged youth an opportunity to act, dance, sing and speak through classes, media, music and other creative outlets. It will also create career opportunity in the areas of Sound and Lighting engineers, Music Directors, Video editors, Video Camera operators, Carpentry, Advertising and Promotion persons, stage directors and media directors. Additional training will be given to teens and youth adults who desire job skills training through our Job Development program.

One of the ways we accomplish this goal is through our Teens Speaking out Radio Show which allows Teens and young Adults who have issues concerning  school, peer pressure, dating abuse,  sex, gangs violence, drugs, teen pregnancies, suicide and their environments but looking for ways to overcome their situation without discrimination. We allow youth to speak out concerning how they feel about their situation. We offer solution through a thought management program. We also offer mentoring to teens, counseling and support.

 By giving the youth projects that are for them and by them, Teens Speaking Out Movement is giving them the opportunity to express themselves. So many of these children have voices that need to be heard, stories that need to be spoken and pain that needs to be understood. They need to feel important and valued and that there opinions, thoughts and ideas matter.
