Teens 4 Peace  

Teens 4 Peace is all about helping the youth of today learn valuable life skills that will give them what everyone really strives for: peace, love & understanding! My theory is that in order to achieve true happiness or inner peace, we need to focus on a variety of areas in our life. So each show is dedicated to topics or special guests that will inspire and enlighten today’s young adults so they can have the peace that everyone wants so badly. You see, the peace I’m talking about is NOT about being in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It’s about being in the midst of those things and still being calm in your heart. Therefore, Teens 4 Peace is here to inspire peace, one heart at a time. Listeners can email their questions to sandee@4give4peace.com or you can call in with your questions at (347) 426-3349. Sandee Sgarlata is the host of Teens 4 Peace on BlogTalkRadio, a Life Coach, and a Professional Speaker. She is also the author of "The Day After Tomorrow", the first novel in the Julia Monroe Series that offers a compelling story that everyone can relate to and realize that they are not alone in their struggles.     Understanding the nature of addiction can be confusing. In this episode, I will talk about my own experiences which will help the listener to make educated choices about their own lives. I will share my experience, strength and hope that I have acheived through 18 years of sobriety. I will also explain my work as an Addiction & Recovery Coach. Finally, I will be talking with a woman who struggled with addiction during her teen years. This individual was brave and courageous enough to surrender to her addiction while still in her teen years. She has remained sober through college and well into her adult life. Learn what strength she pulled from in order to successfully break free while still dealing with peer pressure in high school.
