CUTV News Radio spotlights Jim Saar of Apparel Strategic Alliances LLC

    in Technology

Jackson, NJ – The most popular apparel wear on the market today is made with a synthetic polyester spandex that’s wicking, thermal and anti-microbial. Over the last 20 years, this apparel has evolved to generate $17 billion in revenue each year because the world believes it’s the best.
Apparel Strategic Alliances has developed a 55% cotton, 45% polypropylene apparel product using CoolVisions® Patented Fiber that does everything polyester spandex products do and more.
“We were the first in the world to manufacture commercially acceptable apparel active wear products line and that’s when the miracles started to happen,” says Jim Saar, founder and CEO. “Our cotton-polypropylene Coolvisions® t-shirt is warmer than a down jacket in the winter. In the summer time, it keeps you cool. You may not even sweat.”
In response to his discovery of revolutionary and innovative apparel products, Saar has assembled some of the most experienced and innovative professionals in the apparel industry to form the Apparel Strategic Alliances. This dream team of technical professionals allows the alliance to maintain its leverage against household name competitors as they attempt to bring his revolutionary product to market.
“I know how we stack up. Every day we are coming up with new applications for the technology. We just have to prove to the public at large that the product is better,” says Saar. “Once you try on this apparel, you will be a customer. I just have to get you to put it on.”

ITT 020: More cyberattacks, 10 years of the iPhone, Get faster internet!

    in Technology

It's the last episode of our first season! We're taking a break for a few weeks to prepare a bigger, better, shinier second season of In Tech Today.
In the meantime, we discuss the Petya cyberattack this week, which brough Ukraine and much of Europe to its knees. What was it, how did it spread, and where did it come from? We also ask if cyberwarfare is the new means of attack between countries, and whether there is any way to protect yourself from other states playing dirty tricks.
It's also the iPhone's 10th birthday! This revolutionary device, released in 2007 by Steve Jobs at Apple, is definitely the modern smartphone's ancestor. How revolutionary was the device? How good was the first one? And, is Apple still innovating like they did all those release cycles ago?
Our techno dinosaur Michele also has a question about her internet speed. Her broadband sucks, and she wants to know if she can improve it. Listener Andy also has a question about encrypting his external USB hard drives to protect his data.

About Technology

We love technology. Without the Internets, how could we offer 35,000 new shows a month to listen to, playback and download? Technology is so pervasive, we treat our devices like trusty companions, carrying them around with us, and going through withdrawal when they're recharging or misplaced. We discipline our children by taking away electronic privileges. We check tech blogs and forums for PC and Mac rumors. And just when we've geeked out on the latest-and-greatest gadgets, our eyes widen at the glimpse of what will quickly usurp them. Can't make it to SXSW, CTIA, CES and other trade shows? Our hosts take you there. Unsure which operating systems, software or apps are worth your time and money? Get expert advice from bestselling authors, CTOs and leading technologists on product news, e-learning, cloud computing, cameras, home entertainment, camcorders, iPhones, Androids, BlackBerrys, PlayStation, Wii, tablets, iPods and everything keeping our lives in sync.
