The Woodlands Talk  

The Woodlands and surrounding communities now have a radio show. It is a way for residents to connect with one another. It is a way for us to feature some of the leaders of the community and give them a venue for sharing their message. We want the show to be valuable and intelligent - informative and entertaining. Kathi Frank, host of The Woodlands Talk, is a real estate agent. But there is nothing typical about the way she approaches serving her clients. As a life coach and author, her goal is to serve home owners, and those purchasing homes, with incredible honesty and focus on their individual needs.     The Montgomery County Fair & Rodeo

    Pat Davis, Chairman of the Montgomery County Fair and Rodeo spent most of an hour with us explaining all the different aspects of the fair that opens tomorrow and goes through Sunday night, April 5th.

    There is a whole lot to enjoy, so take the time to listen to the show or go to their website: www.MCFA.org to learn all the specifics.

    Here are a few of the facts: The first weekend is "Family Days" with the PRCA Rodeo both Friday and Saturday nights.  Sunday, March 29th is the Ranch Rodeo featuring local cowboys.  Monday through Thursday nights there is no admission charge.  Each day includes all sorts of activities from the Auction Sale to open Exhibit Buildings, dancing in the Horseshoe Club and carnival attractions. 

    The BBQ Cookoff follows on the 2nd weekend with shuttle buses (FREE) from both Sam's and the Conroe Outlet Mall.  The last Sunday is El Dia De La Familia Hispana and the bands will be Carlos Y Jose, Libercion, & Falcon.

    There is something for everyone.  Don't miss it!!!
