Personal Learning Projects can help you become an expert if you effectively apple sound learning principles. This show reviews the idea of learning quadrants and the need for Self-learners to bring to light the dark quadrant of their life. Self-learners must get good at bringing to light what they do not know they don't know. These items in the dark unknown corner of their life must be moved to the point where they know they don't know it. THEN and only then can they begin to learn it. Personal Learning Projects produce experts when the learner properly focuses on the things that matter most in the areana. This focus begins with an immersion into the subject matter to awake in the learners mind the topics and classifications of the genre. Next the Self-Learner needs to find or create connections to realities of the subject at hand. A mental model is created and confirmed by interactions with resources, human and non human. Experience beings to bear out the accuracy of the mental model. The mind makes meaning out of the mess. Connections multiply.
