HIV/AIDS is affecting our communities in alarming numbers. Although the transmission of the virus is preventable, MILLIONS of people are affected by it every year, every month, every week, every day, and every minute. In honor of World AIDS Day (Dec 1), we'll discuss some eye-opening statistics, the disturbing trends that attribute to the reasons behind the statistics, and how to avoid becoming a statistic.

SPECIAL GUEST: Stephanie Reneé Alston, author of the fictional story "As I Die Slowly (AIDS), will be joining us to discuss this epidemic. The full time college student is no stranger to AIDS Advocacy. In 2008, legendary rock star Bono asked her to come on board as a college ambassador for his well-known RED campaign.

Join Esh, Nic, & Chelle every Thursday at 9:00pm EST for Teen Diaries Radio (aka TD Radio) as they chat about fashion, music, celebrity scoop, relationships, finance - and EVERYTHING in between.
