The clothes you wear. The food you eat. The color of your bedroom walls. Where you go and how you get there. The people you hang with. What time you go to bed. What do these things have in common? They're just a few examples of the many hundreds of things that your parents controlled for you when you were a child. As a kid, you didn't have a say in very much that went on; your parents made decisions about everything from the cereal you ate in the morning to the pajamas you wore at night. But eventually, you grew up and became a teen. And part of being a teen is developing your own identity — one that is separate from your parents'. But as you change and grow into this new person who makes his or her own decisions, your parents may have a difficult time adjusting, which can cause a lot of fighting between teens and parents. This Thursday, we'll be talking about why parents and teens don’t see eye to eye and providing tips on how teens can communicate with their parents better. Kelci, 16 (on right) and Taylah P, 17, from the rising R&B/Pop duo the VISTOSO BOSSES, will be here to share their personal experiences on dealing with their parents. Stay Tuned!

Join Esh, Nic, & Chelle every Thursday at 6:00pm EST for Teen Diaries Radio (aka TD Radio) as they chat about fashion, music, celebrity scoop, relationships, finance - and EVERYTHING in between.
