Skin color difference within the Black community is still a sensitive and emotional issue. Throughout history, preferential treatment has been given to lighter skinned Blacks rather than darker skinned Blacks, and skin color has played a great significance in determining social status in the larger society. Does preconceived judgment or preferential treatment of same-race people still exist? TONIGHT Actress GABRIELLE UNION (Cadillac Records, Ugly Betty, The Perfect Holiday, Bad Boys II, Bring it On) will be joining us to discuss discrimination within the Black race. Does skin color still separate us? It will be a heated discussion that you don’t want to miss. Tune into BlogTalkRadio.com/tdradio @ 6pm!!!
