God is doing a new thing in His body and whether we like it or not either we move with God in transition or choose to remain stagnant because we are on the cutting edge.  One of the reasons why I believe many who are in the body are experiencing what they are experiencing is because they are going through a transition.  A transition that is very necessary because we have entered a time and a season where God wants to us for His glory but in order to do so He first has to change us.  As we walk with God one of the things that we will discover is that change is necessary.  Webster defines “transition” as “a passing from one condition, form, stage, activity, place, etc. to another.”  God is taking many of His people through transition. He is wresting with many of us, just like He did with Jacob. God is wrestling our churchy activities; our programs; our old ideas which if we be truthful and admit are no longer working for us.  The LORD wants His people to come the realization that we need change.

Whenever God gets ready to take His people through transition He does it for a reason and a purpose. One of the purposes for transition is so that the body of Christ can be purified and go on to a higher level of maturity that will cause her to become unified. Another purpose for transition is to thrust the Church out of her spiritual, mental and structural operation that has nothing to do with what God wants to do through her right nowWhen the Church refuses to move, refuses to let go of her old ways than transition she stands in danger of becoming stagnant. What transition does is allow us to realign ourselves with the will and move of God. It allows us to get rid of what has become outdated by God.
