Tavis Smiley enjoys an enriching conversation with former Brooklyn Dodgers pitcher Don Newcombe, 87, who still works for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Topics range from Newcombe's current role with the team, to hardships of playing major league baseball alongside Jackie Robinson in the 1940's, to Newcombe's job as Dr. Martin Luther King's bodyguard. Newcombe, along with Roy Camapnella, formed the great Arfrican American core of the Dodgers in the latre 40's and 50's. Join us for a magnificent talk.
