When we think of today's salon's and barbershop's we often think of "DRAMA" as we all can attest to this when you see salon's in the media or on the movies screens it always connect to drama.Well as a retired stylist and having over 19 years of experience in the industry this one topic never seem to fade.To salon owners if you offer a service that is supposed to be uplifting and life changing then i pettion you to correct the conversations that you allow to go on in your salon, spa or barbershop in the old day such as Madam C.J.Walker offered an empowered, encouraging, uplifting, serene atmosphere where women trained to become self-employeed.I feel that today's salon has fallen from the lifeblood of an their reason for being in business and that is to create a setting that changes and relieves the patron durning their service.Owners let's get back to where we changed womens lives from the inside out and that is stop the gossip that damages, hurt, confuses and causes division we each other!
