Human rights violations are routinely committed by psychiatry, including forced drugging, electroshock, restraints, seclusion, and aversives. Institutionalization itself is a violation.
People's hopes and dreams are ripped away from them, diagnosed as delusional, and left to live a life of poverty. We can do better. We must.
