Pollinators of all kinds are facing an uphill battle these days. Fortunately there are people working hard to create and preserve habitat for them and educate the public on how to do the same. Talkupy with Annie Lindstrom welcomes Mary Ellen Ryall, founder of Happy Tonics Pollinator Sanctuaries to the show on Thursday, June 12 at 10 a.m. Eastern Time.

We will discuss Happy Tonics' work in several states to help butterflies and bees flourish despite their loss of habitat and the devastating impact of GMO crops. As she tends to her work in the field, Mary Ellen works tirelessly to raise up new leaders to take the helm of projects she creates wherever she goes. She also has authored two books: My Name Is Butterfly and The Monarch Butterfly Coloring Book. Both can be ordered from the Happy Tonics web site.

For more information on Happy Tonics go to the organization's web site, twitter or Facebook page.
