Update: We've collected a strange group of soundbites this week  from top Democrats and a progressive pundit or two. Almost sounding like the progressives are coming unglued. We'll share our clips, and ask the question: Is this what a Cloward Piven collapse sounds like  as things begin to unravel?

We also update with observations on Iraq. Looks like Obama's grasping to regain favorable polling numbers

And yes, the orginally promoted topic will fit right in.

A recent Capitol Hill hearing was eye opening as a senator hammered the EPA director's highly spun defense of new, highly restrictive regulations on coal fired electrical generation plants.

Too bad hardly anyone noticed.

Admitted in the hearing: EPA overlooks the costs of its actions to our own domestic economy, preferring to focus on global impacts. We'll feature some sound bites in Friday's show.

Government's gotten really good at finding excuses to justify an orchestrated American decline.

Obama's war on coal as one example. And we'll discuss others as well.

Do you have one bugging you? Feel free to chime in.

We go live at 1:00 o'clock Friday afternoon . Eastern Daylight Time.

A wider ranging discussion of the week's news will also be part of the program as we continue to connect the dots in these perilous times. Congress may be home on a recess, but the national political scene continues to be plenty hot.

Actions now will have signficant impact on our lives going forward, it's important to engage now as things play out.
