This video.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8DtvHPfPNc, epitomizes the nature of many of the homicides in the black community today.  What is unusual about it is that it involves women,  but it is a near perfect distillation of what I call "bravado" killings that revolve around issues of perceived disrespect and/or dishonor.  Thomas Sowell summed it up aptly in his perceptive tome,  Entitled "Black Rednecks and White Liberals."  This conduct was largely inherited from the Scots-Irish Anglo Protestents who originally settled the US from the 17th century thru the post-bellum south,  and was transplated by black migrants to the urban ghettos during the "Black Exodus"  of 6 million black people out of the rural South to urban big cities that occurred between 1916 and 1970.

This culture of violent often murderous reactions to things that seem relatively trivial to most people was allowed to nurture,  largely unmolested in certain ares of black urban America due to policies of segregation and Jim Crow laws.  These areas remain the most murderous areas of the US today.
