NWVU holds monthly meetings to share information on critical changes in laws and VA benefits that impact women veterans, and also provide information on community job fairs and special events. Meetings are held in various locations to outreach to a diverse group of women.

Annual Recognition

NWVU hosts an annual "Salute to Women in Defense of our Nation."

This event is held in March during National Women's History month to highlight the significant contributions and accomplishments in the Armed Forces and ensure they are not left out of history.

NWVU researches state and federal legislation to ensure that women are informed of changes in laws that govern veteran benefits and community resources.

NWVU seeks to empower women on all issues that impact their daily lives and enhance their understanding of VA rights and entitlements and access to all well being services.
