Silpada Designs is one of the country’s most inspirational success stories. Silpada, a company built by women, for women, was founded in 1997 by Bonnie Kelly and Teresa Walsh. Both were stay-at-home moms who discovered they could turn their love of jewelry and knack for styling their friends into a successful business. Together they have turned a basement-born business they started with $25 each into a thriving international company with millions of customers.

Silpada Designs is the world’s largest sterling silver jewelry home party company with operations in the United States and Canada. In 2004, retail sales exceeded $50 million. The founders sold to Avon in 2010 for $650 million. Just last month, the original founders bought Silpada back from Avon for a fraction of the price they sold at. And, now a new generation is taking the reins at the company.

This week's guests, Kelsey Perry and Ryane Delka, are the daughters of the company founders and they are now Silpada's new co-presidents. Join us as they talk about their families' recent repurchase of Silpada, what it’s like to grow up “Silpada-ish”—and where the business is headed next.
