Forgiveness can be hard. Especially when you have been hurt deeply. In recent news, the House of Representatives passed a resolution apologizing to African Americans for both slavery and the era of Jim Crow. Also in the news, Chris Brown apologizes and asks for forgiveness regarding the altercation back in February. Is forgiveness without restitution acceptable? Forgiveness is a key component in salvation. We all want forgiveness but returning forgiveness is usually another thing. How do we react and act when it’s our turn to forgive?
