Real Sisters Talk celebrates Latin Music with Seattle singer and band leader Alma Villegas.

Alma Villegas started her professional music career in 2001 when she was asked to perform with two of Seattle's most popular Latin salsa music ensembles. Her experiences in these two ensembles reconnected her to her youth in Mexico and led her to create a band that offered a more diverse selection including the traditional bolero (Latin ballad), cha-chas, mid-tempo Latin jazz standards, a variety of Cuban rhythms, salsa and bossa novas.

She'll share that music to get you up dancing and she'll also talk about her bands tribute to the legendary Queen of Salsa, Celia Cruz.

Alma on YOU TUBE--Youll love to see her perform.

Celia Cruz Foundation *All music by Alma Villegas & Azucar with the exception of one song sung by Celia Cruz--the first version of Melao de Cana, followed by Alma y Azucars performance of Melao de Cana, and one song by Agustin Lara--Piensa en Mi, played in the background.
