Mojo- thank you for making energy a priority! Along with you, we support all sources of energy development- renewables and alternatives, but especially the oil and gas and coal industries. Instead of looking at energy policy as fossil fuels or alternatives and renewables, we advocate that it would become fossil fuels and alternatives and renewables.

Talk Radio Portal with MoJoe

MoJoe welcomes you to TALK RADIO PORTAL where we try to invoke you with subjects from Today's News, Sports, Music, and of course a little Politics. I am passionate when it comes to those serving in the Military. I love to dabble in Sports and occasionally will address the controversial events within. I have a different attitude when it comes to Politics, I will listen to the views and then give everyone my common sense opinion. I hope everyone has a great experience here and once again welcome to Talk Radio Portal.

NOTICE: Ben was delayed on the water traveling back to make this interview. I have been in contact with his handlers to re-schedule his interview for late August. Check back often to Talk Radio Portal for updates! After a worldwide search, Ben Southall was chosen as Tourism Queensland’s Islands Caretaker, or what we like to call the ‘Best Job in the World’. The role is a newly created position designed to help promote the Islands of the Great Barrier Reef to the world. Ben was selected from more than 34,000 people from around the globe who applied for the Best Job in the World. He will work for six months exploring the Islands of the Great Barrier Reef and report on his travels through regular blog posts. Applications for the job opened in January 2008, with would-be caretakers sending in 60-second videos showing their creativity and skills. From a shortlist of 50 applicants, Ben was amongst the final 16 applicants who traveled to Queensland in early May for the final selection process. Ben has immersed himself in life above and below the Islands of the Great Barrier Reef. A keen diver and sailor, he’s experiencing the full wonder and ecological diversity of the reef and islands.

    Living on a Tight Budget

MoJoe is looking for your cost saving ideas on stretching your family budget. So I have called upon our Special Guest for this show to explain how to help us with some ideas. Danny Kofke is currently a special education teacher in Georgia. He has also taught kindergarten, first grade and second grade. Danny's love of teaching others led him to write the book "How To Survive (and perhaps thrive) On A Teacher's Salary." Danny has been a teacher for almost ten years and is proud to say that passion for the craft keeps him in the classroom but smart savings and basic understanding of financial principles have kept his wife (willingly!) at home with their children. Many find it hard to believe that one teacher can support a family of four, but "How to Survive" explains the steps necessary for others to follow suit and save for life's journeys. "How To Survive" has been featured in Instructor Magazine, Bottom Line Personal, on Yahoo Finance, on AOL.com and in various newspapers. Danny has also been on numerous radio and on a few television shows. A lot of people think that figuring out financial matters and investing are difficult and are intimidated by it. Danny wants to show others that if a 33 year-old school teacher can figure it out then they can too. So stop by for a chat or call into the show and ask Danny your financial questions.

THE CHILD FINDER - A TRILOGY

MoJoe welcomes Retired United States Air Force Colonel and Former USAF OSI Agent Michael Angley to Talk Radio Portal. We will discuss his new book and follow the adventures of an Air Force Special Agent, Major Patrick O'Donnell, as he discovers he has a unique psychic gift that permits him to find abducted children. Michael wrote the story because it had been in his head for many years, nagging away at him. He finally set pen to paper in 2001, putting the first draft of the manuscript aside for several years while he continued his Air Force career catching spies, terrorists, and criminals. Michael retired in 2007 and dusted the manuscript off, fell back in love with the characters, and worked to improve the plot line. He believes there is a wonderful story to tell that has trappings of his own personal experiences working in the murky, dark world of TOP SECRET government Special Access Programs.
