Happy new year

If you are anything like me, the prospect of ushering in a new year can be both exciting and daunting. There is no telling what might happen in the 12 months that make 2013. I worry of my parentsand their health, I worry about my brothers and sisters, about my immediate family, i.e. husband and kids and the list of my worries really can be endless. 

However,it is in this same state that I find my relience and dependancy on God. I know there is little I can do on my own. If I at any one time found someone to lean it, I bet you no one would be willing to be leant on for a prolonged period of time; they would understandably tire, it is however clear that God wants us to LEAN on him. Proverbs 3:5 " trust in the Lord, and LEAN not on you own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him". 

God, being jelous of you, expects you to wholly and totally depend, lean, expect, and wait on him. Give your worries, expectations, and needs to him. He is faithful and just, caring and kind, and he will carry you and I through, the coming year, the one after and the one after next..we, as the Talanta family will do just that, lean on him wholly, and wait in great expectation of his wonderous deeds.
