Based out of Union City, Nj, Taktikal was influenced by Eminem's "Slim Shady LP" which pushed him to quickly pick up a pen and start writing rhymes. Having the roots of rapping in his blood, Taktikal continued the path that was once led by his father Martin Pearson who was once known as The Grand Wizard "Kid C". Being the 2nd oldest out of 4, Taktikal would also be influenced by older brother Mello Milli'On who guided him in ways of writing rhymes, delivery and punchline perfection. As Taktikal got more familiar with his Hip Hop roots, he embarked on another MC who would grab his attention and influence him to change his flow into numerous flows. That MC being late Big Pun who was known for his great flow delivery and jaw dropping punchlines. Having to perfect his rhymes, Taktikal would battle other rappers in school from the 4th grade all the way up to his High School years where he would quickly grab the attention of the higher classmen while also establishing his name on the grounds of Central(local territory hangout). Making his first performance appearnace in the Open Mic Showcase presented by UpTop Films, Taktikal would go on to the finals where he didnt win. With the experience of losing a competition, failure would push him to work harder on his music. As Taktikal got older, he experienced heart break which led him to write aggresively turning a basic 16 bars into an extrodinay verse sometimes memoriable to others. Taktikal made his first mixtape debut on The Franchise "Its a Long Story" where he would spit a memoriable verse over Tony Sunshines "Oh My God" instrumental where he would grab the attention of older kids who knew Mello Milli'On. Sadly The Franchise who was led by older brother Mello Milli'On had a fall out and the mixtape stopped being pushed.
