  Blog: Golf 101, Hitting the Green in Style
  

  As soon as I signed  up for a charity golf event, I realized that I didn't  know how to golf!
  
  So, I reached out to Golf expert, Joe Bosco from Green to Tee in Chicago for some quick tips before I start my lessons. 
  
  Today on Tailored Edges, we talked about golf tips and I added a few of my own about what to wear to golf.
  
  Before you step out on the golf course for the first time, listen to the entire broadcast. Meanwhile, here's are a couple of our tips.
  
  Observe other golfers:
  Speak up and let other golfers in your group know that you're a newbie. Ask for guidance and go last or towards the end so that you can observe others and start to understand the protocol. 
  
  Breath:
  Tensing up is natural when you're doing something new, be aware of this and loosen up and it will improve your game.
  
  Be Courteous:
  Joe Bosco told us the number one etiquette rule for golf and you'll have to visit the archive to hear it directly from him!
  
  I, of course want you to show up in style, so:
  
  

  • 1. Be comfortable and road test your outfit a few days before your outing.
  • 2.  Always wear a colllar.
  • 3.  Never wear jeans!
