Greetings! Join me, Doctor Dayciaa Smith, for an enlightening, educational episode of Divine Experience on Sunday, April 27, 2015 @ 5:30 p.m. CST. I'll give personal updates, talk about P.O.I.s for the week, and list some startling statistics on reasons why we must protect and pray for our youth by teaching Christian Health Education. Our focal topic for today will be the Biblical principles of Christian Health Education and how to help our young people--and everyone, for that matter--apply them in their lives. Tune in for this very important episode.
Join co-hosts Eric Komoroff (www.communityofunity.org) and Dr. Jason Stein (iRyze.com) in a discussion about today's youth and the current thoughts and practices of testing in today's schools. Do these tests really work as a true indicator of a child's knowledge? It is good to rely so heavily on test results? Are school children actually learning? These are some of what will be discussed in this episode.
Today, we will discuss with various youth some of the things that go on within the school system that has caused our children to have issues in school. Our guest will be anoymous this evening so that they may speak freely and share what's on the heart. They will range from 9 -15 years of age and they will come from different areas of the United States. The youths are allowed to speak on various topics such as bulleying, peer pressure, what actually goes on in the school system that they feel can be corrected in order to make a difference.
Join co-hosts Eric Komoroff (www.communityofunity.org) and Jason Stein, PhD (www.iRyze.com), as they discuss this important topic with Ian Forster, the East Coast Regional for HealthCorps, a national non-profit that focuses on preventative and inclusive health education in high schools. Join Eric Komoroff (www.communityofunity.org) and Dr. Jason Stein (iRyze.com) in a discussion about today's youth and helping them deal with peer pressure. From what they want to wear, which technology they ask permission to use, or what activities they want to be part of, our children's behavior is many times a reflection of the influences and pressures that come from their peer group. How to balance these with parental controls, which battles to choice, and when to draw the line are some of what will be discussed in this episode.
