Do Black Conservatives Blow Off Black History Month?

    in Politics Conservative

Some black conservatives are adamantly anti-Black History Month. Jerome Hudson is a Breitbart News columnist, political analyst, and social commenter. He covers issues of race in our culture, and he will be one of our guests to weigh in on Black History Month (BHM). Mary Baker, an active homeschooling mom, also opposes a Black History Month celebration. Why are these black conservatives against BHM, and how will I challenge them on this issue?

This broadcast will also cover last Saturday's Republican presidential debate and look ahead to the results of the New Hampshire first-in-the-nation primary election.

Tune in to The Right Voice with Adrienne Ross from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Eastern/7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Central every Tuesday. Participate in the discussion by calling (646) 200-3715 to comment and/or ask questions. If you miss the live show, listen to the podcast at any time.

    in Paranormal

On today's show, I'll be looking back at the Super Bowl, taking one more pass at the entire event, the ritual of the game itself and of course the highly occulted halftime show, which has become even more controversial than halftime shows from the recent past.

I'll also belooking at the migrant crisis in Northern Europe, giving you some updates on what's happening there, the numbers game and the complete desecration and destruction of countries and cultures that have lasted centuries.

Lastly, I'll play a video/sound clip for you that will blow your mind.

The 10 Blackest Things Michelle Obama Has Ever Done

    in Pop Culture

Perhaps the most vital and historically resonant aspect of Michelle Obama’s stint at the White House is the most obvious one. She is a wife and a mother. And the Obama family’s visibility and prominence has done more to normalize and celebrate the black family than any policy measure or bill her husband could have crafted. At the center of all this is Malia and Sasha—two girls who have been and will continue to be exemplary role models for children and young adults, black girls particularly.

Kevin Downswell. LIVE on The Dr. Karlene Richardson Show

    in Motivation

Interestingly, Kevin’s gift did not surface until he was about 13 years of age. Before this precious discovery, however, some of his family members somehow knew that there was something different about him that made him stand out amongst his peers. From a young age, he was always passionate in what he did, and amidst the trying times he experienced during his childhood years, he has always found a way to rise above his limitations. Kevin could have easily succumbed to the many sources of pressure and struggles which he faced, but you can always know a champion when you see one. With patient tenacity and God by his side, he not just survived, but came out a better man.

Listen in to the conversation between Dr. Richardson and Kevin Downswell!
