Everything w/Kathy B, Katherine Wong-Velasco, Dr. D Ivan Young, Dr. Drakeford

    in Entertainment

Source Nation!  Join us tonight from 6-9 EST for Love Zone Mondays and Parents and Teen Talk

6:15-Katherine Wong-Velasco discusses with Kathy, Thinking Outside The Box When It comes To Dating.

For a long time, Katherine felt she had to find a man of similar background to her — well-educated and ambitious in their career. Katherine was ready to settle down and get married, but it just wasn’t happening. Then she read “The Surrendered Single”, and she started to examine her thinking. Why not go ‘outside the box’ when it comes to dating? What if she had been overlooking someone brilliant just because his path didn’t match hers? Katherine realized that the relationship that would make her happiest would never come if she tried to force her own goals on it. She let go of her old notions, tried some different strategies, and found the wonderful man that would become her husband. Her past relationships weren’t mistakes; they were a learning ground for the future.

7:15- Dr. D Ivan Young & Kathy B discuss Purpose, Power and Potential: Who Are You Really Marrying Or In a Relationship With?

8:15 Dr. Jocelyn G. Drakeford joins Host Chevonna Johnson for Parents & Teens Talk to speak to the Youth and Parents on the topic, African American Males Knowing Their History.

    Seeds of Prayer and Praise!

    in Prayer

    "I Will Pout Out!"(Acts 2:17)

“‘In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams.

Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.

    "(Acts 2:17-18)

We need the promised Holy Spirit more than ever!  The Lord will send what has been promised! We are praying and seeking His face to receive in abundance the Lord's inheritance to us who believe.

Coming to you LIVE every Monday night, The Late Shift with your host, Steven Bell, recaps the just ended episode of Monday Night Raw as well as discusses all the hot topics in the world of professional wrestling. A comprehensive recap of everything that went down on the show, The Late Shift is also full of opinions, unrepentant fandom and the occasional rant that can only come from someone who genuinely loves the professional wrestling business. On tonights show I will be citing references about Beyonces latest project ,"Lemonade". You can say whatever you like but I will tell you what I saw. I will discuss her darkness. I will discuss the imagery. I will also discuss Khalik Allahs role in the film. As I have stated he did the cover of my book ,"The Pookie Chronicles" As a woman my brother Saladin spoke about the covenant. If you dont know what that is perhaps you should get to know one. It is the reason young women are being raised as whores, NOT queens. There is NO sisterhood.

The Green Bay Packers 2016 NFL Draft recap

    in Sports

After the Super Bowl, the next event is the NFL Combine which showcases some of the top talent, in the country. They are testing for all 32 NFL teams hoping that a good showing will enhance their draft status. If a player stumbles at the combine, it could cost them draft position and money. The excitement of the 2016 NFL Draft happened before the first pick. The Los Angeles Rams wanted a franchise quarterback, so they packaged a deal that landed them the first overall pick. With that pick they selected Jared Goff, from California. The Philadelphia Eagles also wanted to make sure they got their man and traded with the Cleveland Browns to obtain the second pick. They selected Carson Wentz from North Dakota State.

The Green Bay Packers had a number of opportunities with the 27th pick. They opted for a big body; Kenny Clark, from UCLA as their number one pick. In order to bolster depth on the offensive line, they traded up in the second round to grab Jason Spriggs from Indiana. Ted Thompson did something he does almost every draft, selected a wide receiver. Trevor Davis, of California, will join the Packers young receiving unit. Thompson did address the need at inside linebacker by selecting Blake Martinez, from Stanford, in the fourth round.
