We all want to be something right? Sitting at a ballgame filming last night two parents broke in to a " dual" about their children's education, one had won the promise, another had won presidential, and two were inline for the purple heart, or was it the young guns congressional medal of honor???...lol
We need to be proud of our kids, I know I am proud of mine, but are we ever proud of them in Jesus? I want you all, including myself to "BE" something when we grow-up in Jesus.
He just coached the Chicago Bulls to a very impressive Game 1 win in Cleveland. He finished off the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 6 of the first round with a 54-point victory. He has had a surprising level of success the past two seasons despite being without Derrick Rose. He is widely regarded as one of the best tacticians in basketball.
Yet Tom Thibodeau appears to be on the way out in Chicago.
Even if he wins a championship.
How can this be? Is there any precedent?
To answer to second question first ... you might just remember that Phil Jackson left the Bulls -- and they broke up their dynasty -- in 1998 after winning the NBA title for the sixth time in eight years. At that time, the disconnect between the head coach and the front office was so immense, there was no turning back the dynamiting of one of the greatest teams ever. It made no sense then, and it still makes no sense today ... unless you compare it to a divorce.
And that is how we answer the first question posed above, in this podcast with WGN Radio in Chicago.

Or the way they use…their brakes? Believe it or not, it all ties in to a powerful lesson in success (and business), and it’s a message you need to hear right about now.
Join JT DeBolt for a full-afterburner discussion about how the Blue Angels take the first critical steps to mission accomplishment, and how it directly translates to you business and life.

Drew Alexander is the BMW Motorcycle Manager for Battly Cycles. Bikers have a stereotype that is almost never true - Drew's somewhat grizzled look notwithstanding. One thing that is true of most bikers and biking clubs is that they do a lot of fund-raising for various causes.
Drew is a volunteer with Wellspring International Outreach, which focuses on supporting orphaned an otherwise abandoned children across the world. Drew has built homes, playgrounds, and other support structures in South Africa. He'll talk with us about the desperation he has seen and the rise in what is known as voluntourism.
"When you blame others, you give up your power to change." ~ Robert Anthony
Who do you blame for your failures and disappointments in life? Hopefully, no one. But if you find yourself fuming over past offences, and it's hard for you to forgive, you may be entrenched in The Blame Game. You may not think you're playing it, but if you're not taking responsibiilty for your own choices and actions, you are.
Mother's Day is approaching, and for some people, it's not such a happy occasion. Perhaps you've got beef with your mother for things she did (or did not do) in the past. Maybe it's someone else with whom you're in conflict. But whatever the case, it will definitely benefit you to tune in today.
Join us as we chat with author & speaker, Rita Emmett, about how to give up The Blame Game and start moving forward with your life. Call in with your questions and comments, 646-716-6910, or chat with us in our LIVE chat room during the broadcast!
You hope for it. You dream of it. You hustle for it. And one day, it hits: the flood gates open, and you get just about everything you've asked for. Plus more. It's amazing. It's awesome. It can be overwhelming. It can be too much. AND it can be perfect. Today I'll help you put the ahhhh back in abundance and help you figure out how to make the best of all the good that comes your way.
