Just another week in US politics: Hillary Clinton throws down on the GOP regarding immigration reform and Bernie is in the race - while the GOP clown car gets more crowded with Ben Carson, Mike Huckabee and Carly Fiorina.
Around the country: In the wake of Baltimore and Ferguson, President Obama launches the My Brother's Keepr nonprofit organization (spun off from the White House initiative of the same name). And reports of full-scale paranoia in Texas after Islamophobic nut job Pamela Geller provokes a couple of ISIS wannabes into a suicide mission, and Special Forces training mission they believe is intended to facilitate a government takeover of Texas. Plus, John Oliver goes off on the testing obsession. MOMocrats Cynematic, Karoli and Donna Schwartz Mills discuss politics from a progressive point of view. An Engender Media Group production.
Today a treasure trove of topics. From the NFL Draft and the number on overall pick from Florida State University, quartback Jameis Winston. Should there be limits on free speech? The shootings in Garland Texas have opened the question of first amendment rights in America. Both Carly Fiorina and Dr. Ben Carson have entere the race to gain the republican noimination tro run for president. This is something we need to have a chat about.
We will spend some time on next week's shows. We have scheduled Brandon Darby of Breitbart Texas, Robert Stacy McCain, and Sonnie Johnson. We are looking for to a blockbuster week!
Tranea Prosser, a new author is also known as Comedian MizT.
Until fairly recently, Miz T's "side-splitting" comedy routines was shared primarily with folks in Texas...from Dallas to Houston to the capital city of Austin. But she is a regional star no more...becoming a comic force across the U-S with the release of "Back at 'Ya Lord." Clips from Miz T's comedy album are now airing on Internet radio stations across America and overseas in London.
Where ever there are ears to hear, and a sound system to project her voice, Miz T has been bringing the laughter to folks in all sorts of venues, like churches and banquets. And she does it in a clean, non-profane manner...pleasing to audiences of all ages --- from kids to senior citizens.
As an entertainer Miz T is a triple threat; aside from her comedy, she's also a singer with a powerful voice, along with being an accomplished emcee (MC).
When she's not captivating audiences, Miz T is a devoted and doting mother and grandmother.
