Tom Kelly, was born in Los Angeles, California in the United States of America, on April 6, 1950. As a child, Tom was naturally devotional, serving as an altar boy at his family church. While attending college at the University of California in Santa Barbara, Tom developed a deep yearning within his heart and soul to make a more intimate connection with God.
After earning his B.A. in Anthropology and Religious Studies from the University of California at Santa Barbara, at the age of 24, Tom entered the monastic life at the Self-Realization Fellowship (SRF). Founded by Paramahansa Yogananda in southern California, SRF- is an international, non-profit, religious organization that has roots that trace back to the ancient lineage of Swamis from India.
After taking vows of simplicity, chastity, obedience, and loyalty, Tom spent the next 25 years engaged in rigorous spiritual training as a deeply devoted raja yoga monk practicing meditation and humanitarian service on a daily basis, specializing in ministry, team building and motivational speaking.
In the fall of 1999, after joyfully living and serving for 25 years as a monk in the Self-Realization Fellowship Order, Tom felt ready to embark on a new adventure in his life. Filled with inspiration and the assurance from the Divine, Tom left the monastic life and re-entered the secular world, in order to expand his life learning, as well as share the fruits of his self-transformation and direct experience of Yoga with all.
As an ordained minister and certified yoga teacher with over 30 years of experience in spiritual and personal growth development, Reverend Tom has traveled around the world to carry the message of the Sacred Art of Raja Yoga.
Tom's passion for communicating the joy of spiritual living is highly contagious. Tom serves from an open heart with the sole intention of opening hearts and minds to seeing the truth of love within and all around us.
Jasmine Canales, yoga teacher, healer and singer Health and wellness have always been a huge part of my life through my mothers influence in me as a young girl. I have been practicing yoga since I was about sixteen, going to class because I liked the way I felt after. Soon after high school I fell into teaching Jazzercise and other fitness modalities which I consider the door that led me to yoga. I believe yoga called me to become a leader of peace and has helped me grow into the person I am today, someone connected to spirit. I have completed my 500hr Hatha Yoga/ Yoga therapy certification through Anahata Yoga and wellness, and a kids yoga cert through yogaworks. Last May I became a Reiki 1 channeler and have been working on healing myself and others through light energy techniques. Everyday yoga inspires me to live as my true Self and be an expression of light and spirit. My teaching style is light hearted and I encourage students to move at their own pace, providing options and connecting to breath most importantly. I want to provide healing, compassion, and Self love to those who need it!
Marcia shines with the essence of divine light. She has many credentials including being a Reiki Master, Rising Start Healer, and Metaphysician, but her passion seems to be Kundalini Yoga. Her and her husband Tony teach at Soul of Yoga in Encinitas, California. She also possesses a beautiful singing voice.
