Celine Tellier's debut EP Last One Standing is a culmination of 3 years of writing, feeling, highs, lows, disappointments and achievements! In 2012, she entered a songwriting competition hosted by KICX 91.7 in Sudbury, ON on a dare, and was one of the top 5 finalists. Since then, she has taken every opportunity to host numerous house concerts, and has opened for and shared the stage with many very well established Canadian country artists such as Marshall Dane, Doc Walker, Tonya Kennedy, Ty Baynton, and Tim Hicks. She's also played summer festivals such as Parry Sound Ribfest and the Blueberry Festival in Sudbury, as well as opened the weekend for Country In The Woods. A mutual friend got her in touch with Nashville-based Canadian recording artist Jason Kirkness who, after a few months of phone calls and emails, agreed to produce this album. She's made friends, taken notes and advice, and got to work; and with the support of her husband and children, "Last One Standing" was on its way!
Recorded between The Hilson Studio in Nashville, TN and Private Ear Studios in Winnipeg, MB, "Last One Standing" is the product of determination, focus, and sacrifice. Along with the stellar sounds of some of the best musicians in country music today, Celine's words have come to life, and she hopes that you will enjoy listening as much as she has enjoyed writing.
Giftted singer/songwriter Jenn Em Debuts New single 'JAILKEEPER' Featured on Singersroom.com
Singer + songwriter Jenn Em (née Jennifer Michelle Malsch), 22, was born and raised in the shadow of the US capitol, in small-town Chevy Chase, Maryland. The lone creative soul in a family of academic types, Jenn was playing the piano by age four, and had written her first song at age six. While still in single-digits she took up the violin, performing for audiences at the Kennedy Center, the White House, and at Baltimore Orioles baseball games – each instance in perfectly frilly dresses, accented by child-prodigy cuteness. She was never not singing. As a rebellious teenager she dropped the cute act, and expanded her musical repertoire by entering the world hip-hop and R&B as an around-the-way writer and hook-singer. In 2008 she released a remix of "Nike Boots" by fellow Washington, D.C. native Wale (feat. Lil' Wayne). The track exploded in the local market and provided the kick in the ass the then seventeen-year old Jenn needed to decide to pack up and hit the road for Los Angeles.
“I sang everywhere, for everyone – anyone!” she reflects about her early moments looking for a break on the West coast. Stumbling over roadblocks in life and love the way young, ambitious girls do, Jenn poured her pain into her music. Then, the way it randomly goes in the business of music, Jenn met JUB Records owner + executive Jubbie Chang – with whom she grew an electric creative synergy and began to develop her unique musical sound. Together they began working on her deeply personal and inspired project. Jenn Em is currently writing and recording her ice blue-eyed, raw-soul inspired debut EP with few fucks otherwise to give.

Gorton begins his analysis with a look at the assassination of John F. Kennedy, referred to throughout his essay as the "Coup of '63". The treason of the plotters, he notes, did not stop with that single crime and its immediate cover-up by the Warren commission. RFK was aiming to become president and expose the truth, so the plotters' mutual interest bound them to one another and lead not just to the RFK assassination but to innumerable subsequent murders of those who threatened to expose the truth. Fear of exposure, explains Gorton, "quickened" the original cabal, galvanizing them into a potent political force which would come to dominate US politics. After reading Gorton's essay up to the point at which Ronald Reagan becomes US president, we switch to a short section of Peter Dale Scott speaking in 2013 about the US "overworld", including what the origins of the CIA and the Safari Club can tell us about their role in subservience to higher oligarchical interests. In our second hour, we hear a 2007 interview by Webster Tarpley on "The Ford Presidency", which deconstructs Watergate and comes to concurring conclusions about its actually constituting a coup d'etat - a two stage process to wrest control of the presidency from Nixon. First, replace the vice president, next remove the president. Robin says about Mark Gorton's essay what Lyn Gerry said about episode 87: "I think that this is the most import, provocative, and difficult material that we yet have presented on this program in the 14 years of its existence."
