Born in London, England, Norma Hill-Patton learned her craft at the world-renowned BBC TV, which was famous for holding the highest of industry standards worldwide. Here Norma was trained extensively not just in makeup, but also in hair styling, prosthetics production and application, and wig-making. Norma worked for 11 years on major BBC productions such as THE CLEOPATRAS, I, CLAUDIUS, and FRENCH AND SAUNDERS, the last two of which both received a British Academy Award for Make-up. Norma moved to Vancouver, Canada in 1991 and continues to work in feature films. She has established a career as one of the most sought after Makeup Designers in the film industry. Some of the most recognizable films she has worked on most recently X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, X-MEN 2 and 3, X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE, CATWOMAN, THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL, THE A TEAM and the second movie in the immensely popular Twilight series, NEW MOON, where she designed the show’s look, along with the beauty-vampire makeup on super-stars ROBERT PATTINSON and DAKOTA FANNING. Since 2003, Norma has had the very real privilege of working with, and continues to be, the Personal Makeup Artist to actress HALLE BERRY. Norma received the CNOMA Award for her makeup work with Halle on the movie CATWOMAN.
