join host Kevin Hale, Alfred 'Nasty' Konuwa (Bleacher Report Featured Columnist) and Matthew Grant (host of Weekly Wrestling Podcast) as we recap NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS PPV and take calls.
Join us here LIVE on LOP Radio as we bring you all the results and reactions from WWE's huge Night of Champions PPV event! Your host, LOP Radio's Mr. Monday Night, Steve, (@YourAyatollah) is set and ready to break down all the happenings and action from what looks to be a very intriguing event to lead us into the Fall season!
The Icon, Sting, returns to face off with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins in the main event, marking Sting's first ever title match in a WWE ring. Can The Icon deliver or will age and a skillful Champion catch up to him? That won't be Rollins' only match of the night, either, as before he gets to the Stinger he'll have to defend his US Title against our old pal John Cena. Throw in the PPV return of the Dudley Boys as they take on The New Day for the Tag Team straps, a big Divas Championship match pitting the upstart Charlotte against the now record holding Champion, Nikki Bella, along with plenty more action and you've got yourself one heck of a show to look forward to.
Once it's all said and done, join us LIVE here on LOP Radio for the complete breakdown! Want to join in the fray? You can do so via Twitter by sending your comments, questions and reactions to either host via the @'s provided or by tagging your Tweet with the hashtag #LOPRadio
This week, The Doc takes an analytical look at women's wrestling in the past, present, and future and concludes what was once thought impossible: a female will one day main-event wrestling's greatest show. Bold as his claim may be, you know Doc will back it up with verve. He'll offer a timeline to boot.
Also, The Doc's All-Time WWE PPV Countdown continues with a look at #240 through #231. Doc embraces the challenge of making sure that this process doesn't become monotonous.
This week, The Doc is joined by WhatCulture's Rich Latta, who will present his version of the WrestleMania 32 card. Though Doc is determined not to get into fantasy-booking mode himself, he is in the mood to start talking about the biggest WrestleMania of all-time. Surely, WWE has its booking plans in the works already. We'll see how Doc reacts to what Rich has in mind. He'll share his thoughts accordingly. Also, we're 1/6 of the way through the all-time WWE PPV Countdown. Rich will stick around to go through #250 to #241 with Doc.
This week, The Doc will continue the all-time WWE PPV Countdown with #280 through #271. There have already been several controversial choices, but it's created for good discussion across the board. Will the next ten on the list inspire such derision? Doc can think of one choice that will for sure. Also, Night of Champions is Sunday and Seth Rollins is the focal point. Doc believes that the show could go down as one of the greatest of Rollins's young main-event career. Doc will preview the show's Top 5 matches.
