Is the world of separate body/egos, conflict and disease the real world or not? What is the purpose of time and why does a forgiven mind have no need for it?
Today, with Eloisa Ramos and the guidance of Lessons 291 to 300 of A Course in Miracles, we explore: What is the real world? and Why does the forgiven mind have no more need for time? We ask the Holy Spirit to “look through us” to give a different meaning to everything we perceive so we may see the real world.
“The real world shows a world seen differently, through quiet eyes and with a mind at peace…There are no cries of pain and sorrow heard, for nothing there remains outside forgiveness…Only happy sights and sounds can reach the mind that has forgiven itself.”
When we perceive we are not working with Truth itself, but with symbols and their meaning. These symbols can reflect Ttruth or not, depending on the meaning we give them. The meaning we give anything comes from what we believe we are. When our beliefs about ourselves reflect truth, they show us the real world, when they, we see illusion.
“The real world is the symbol that the dream of sin and guilt is over, and God’s Son no longer sleeps. His waking eyes perceive the sure reflection of his Father’s Love; the certain promise that he is redeemed. The real world signifies the end of time, for its perception makes time purposeless.”

ArtFairCalendar.com has just finished its 2nd annual "America's Best Art Fairs" survey and we announce the winners. This is the only national online survey of the country's juried art fairs and craft shows, designed to reward the festivals that create opportunities connecting artists and communities to celebrate the arts.
We asked our mailing list of over 50,000 art fair patrons what was the best art fair in the country and had an amazing nationwide response. Nearly 90% of the respondents completed the lengthy 20 question survey and the answers were both expected and intriguing.
Not surprisingly: people love to attend art fairs and many travel long distances to do so. The overall conclusion is: Art is Alive and Well in America and attendance at the nation's shows is proof of that.
Listen to find out what the Top 50 shows in the country are as voted on by the people who attend them and collect art. Find out which they have chosen as the best regional fairs, best urban fair, best small market show and the best cities for art fairs.
We'll share the survey answers on:
what makes a show "Best"
why people say they attend an art fair
how art fair goers find out about shows to attend
why they don't attend shows they used to love
how far they travel to art fairs
their suggestions for show organizers
Laura Berarducci from the Ann Arbor Convention & Visitors Bureau also reports on the economic impact of the Ann Arbor Art Fairs in that community.
The mission of ArtFairCalendar.com is to promote the unique American tradition of art fairs by showcasing the events where art collectors find hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind fine work for sale and encourage the interaction of client and creator.
On Today's FIST FIGHT FRIDAY, we are going to be discussing Christian Activism and ask ourselves WHAT WOULD JESUS DO ABOUT PIMP PREACHERS? All too often when we DO see Christian Activists is on the anti abortion/ anti gay marriage front. But is that all christians should do? What about the PIMP PREACHER? What about the abusive pastor? Do we view dealing with national issues like Ferguson more protest-worthy than the abuse, corruption and manipulation going on in our own churches? Why is it that most church folk remain silent about such things?
Meanwhile, TJ & Kevin will be calling in from Houston dealing with the Pimp Preacher that refused to funeralize a 93-year-old member because she "hadn't tithed" in recent years.
We'll be going IN on this "Ladies Night" edition of CHURCH FOLK REVOLUTION!

Images displayed by the mass media play a tremendous role in defining “beauty.” Often times, the images we are subjected to, however, are nothing more than social constructs that have been created and edited by the media to make people feel poorly about themselves and their body image. The bottom line is always about profit and rarely about making the consumer feel more “beautiful.”
In this eye-opening LIVE discussion, Certified Wellness Coach, Lisa Marie Pepe, and Certified Professional Coach and Energy Leadership Index Master Practioner, Gina Costa-Goldfarb will dive in to discuss how the media influences how we see ourselves and what we can do to deconstruct the beauty “myth” and reclaim our inner peace.
