Special Guest: Comedian/Actor Rodney Perry
Comedian Rodney Perry was Born in Chicago, he would find the
infancies of his comedy career at the tender age of 7. His
teacher noticed Rodney's funny nature and made a deal with him. If he would
"shut up throughout the course of the day” he would be given an opportunity to
perform for his classmates at the end of the day. Rodney took his teacher up on
that deal. This was the beginning. Perry calls Atlanta home when he’s not traveling the country to sold-out
audiences or hosting his highly popular online radio show, Rodney Perry Live.
His career has opened up many doors for him, from his work as co-host of
“Who’s Got Jokes” or BET’s “Mo'Nique Show”, to his starring role as Harold in
“Tyler Perry's Madea's Big Happy Family”. Even though Perry is a sought out
Actor/Host, he still remains a comedian at heart. He is currently preparing for his
‘made for TV’ comedy special entitled "No More Mr. Nice Guy” and can also be
seen every Tuesday night as the current Host of Bounce TV’s “Off the Chain"!

Author K.S. Oliver is a author, poet, public speaker, model and business owner who was born in New York and raised in Georgia.She is the author of two poetry books: Still Standing and Affectionately 360. She decided to take leap and let the world read her rhymes of reason after several people read her poetry and suggested that she share it. And she is glad that she did. In 2012, she won the Best Poets and Poems award for her poetry.In 2010 following the birth of her youngest child, she was diagnosed with SLE, also known as Lupus. Subsequently, she was also diagnosed with Discoid Lupus (Skin Lupus), Fibromyalgia, Fibrosis, Hypotension, Hypothyroids, Cricoarytenoiditis (Lupus in her voice box), and Severe depression. Her psychiatrist suggested writing in a diary to get her feelings and thoughts out of her mind and down on paper, but Ms. Oliver quickly learned that poetry came a lot easier. After the success of publishing her own stories, Ms. Oliver decided to go into business with a close friend. Together they launched the publishing company Black Destiny Publications.When Ms. Oliver is not writing, she is running her business Events by Ebonee’, co-running Black Destiny Publications. Ebonee Oliver has a mission in life to raise awareness to this debilitating disease.
Author Taquila Thompson has been writing for a while she wrote her first
book when she was sixteen and pregnant but didn’t release her first story until a few
years later. Was was signed to TBRS as well as G Street but when her contract was up with G Street she decided to become a free agent. Since the releasing of her latest book, she has had some negative backlash but she knew that she wasn’t going to please everybody.

Jamie was born and raised in the Chicago Illinois. She fell in love with urban novels, after her mom gave her a book by Terry McMillian called-Mama. After reading that book she began to read another and at that very moment she knew that these were the kind of books that she wanted to write someday.
After the passing of her mom she began to write notebooks full of poems and short stories. She knew it was a way to cope with her pain, but at the same time she was building her writing skills. Growing up where people didn’t express their dreams she shied away from telling people that she wanted to be a Well-known Published Author someday.
Jamie is always looking to improve her writing craft. She is also a licensed Esthetician and licensed Food Server. She is well known in her community for these crafts as well. She has written two books with one on its way of being published called “Double Back”. She is currently working on a third and is looking to start, as a new blogger in the near future. She would like to tell everyone to always follow their dreams, always step out on faith it’s the best thing anyone could do. She is currently living in Chicago with her children and is brain storming on her future projects.

In an effort to give back, using our unique talents, the proceeds for Please Don’t Kill Me: An Anthology against Domestic Violence,will be donated to domestic violence organizations around the country.

Yara Kaleemah was born in Newark, NJ, as a child she would spend hours writing stories. When her friends were outside, playing, she was in the house writing. Being that she was an only child she had a lot of time on her hands. Naturally, when people asked what she wanted to be when she grew up she would say “an author.” In 2013, Yara published her first novella, Too Much to Chew. It was the greatest accomplishment. Soon after came three more outstanding urban fiction novels. Then, she started S.W.A.G Productions. Vincent Edwards was born in Manhasset, New York and raised in Jamaica, Queens, New York.Vincent attended Central Islip High School set to pursue a football career. He also discovered his second love, writing. He didn't realize then how much words would become a strong hold over his life,until he entered a few poetry contests.After winning a few of those contest Vincent ended up leaving football and decided to pursue writing. Born and mostly raised in Northern California Bay Area his father was killed by a gang banger when I was 9 years old and his mother died of complications of cancer while I was completing his second term in prison. He is a former gang banger and cofounder of Bellhaven Bounty Hunter Bloods who has beatin the odd and turned his life around.
