  • MBSFood: The Letter Writing Project with Author Wendy Wolff

    in Self Help

The Letter Writing Project isn't just a book; according to the book jacket, "it's an emotionally liberating experience that could change your life."  Join us as author Wendy Wolff shares about the healing power of letter writing expressed in her book, and the many lives it has changed.

Wendy Wolff is a public advocate who found healing through writing her own profound story of loss. In her own words: "The Letter Writing Project began as a tribute to my sister, Donna, on the day that the world was remembering her and has morphed into an activity to say the things that you need to say before it is too late. Since its inception I have written letters to friends, children, husbands, teachers, cousins, neighbors and anyone I could think of. Some I mailed and some are still sitting in my “to be tossed” pile. Some letters I will never have any addresses for and yet I still wrote the letter. With most of my letters I eliminated the possibility that if tragedy should strike again in my life and I will never again be left with my thoughts festering inside of me. My sister died with me a bit out of touch with her. I can never take that back. That helpless feeling of regret will always loom over me regarding my sister, but The Letter Writing Project has prevented me from ever having that happen again. In this book there are all kinds of letters. There are professions of love, apologies, retribution, anger, grief, remorse, joy, fulfillment, gratitude, spirituality and hatred."

    Writing Warrior Radio Episode 3

    in Writing

Allison’s passion for words began in early childhood, she had always been fond of reading about life, love, poetry and short stories. As she matured, she challenged herself to hone her craft, exploring various story lines and navigating into the tumultuous world of adult relationships. Nothing prepared her however for her venture into Urban Literature.Allison’s first experience with Urban Lit began when she, as an avid reader received a message from one who promoted for a brand new unknown publishing company and was seeking assistance in promoting novels. Allison jumped at the chance and was soon an official Street Team/Pep Squad member of the Cartel Publications. Allison’s first venture into self publication “Broken Promises Never Mend” became available in paperback in January 2010.  An amended version of which was released June 2010 in paperback, which features a new cover. It premiered on Amazon for Kindle, as of June 2010 as well. Allison learned various lessons while putting this novel together.

Allison is currently focused on a collection of other works slated for release in 2016, under her  imprint “Full of Essence Publications”. The idea to reinvent herself came about with prayer and the desire to be so much more than she already established herself to be. In 2013, Allison Grace was signed to an independent publisher “Sevyn McCray Presents” spearheaded by Sevyn McCray and David Weaver of SBR Publications. Her novel under that imprint PrePaid Mistress debuted at number 5 on the Amazon Bestsellers list for African American women’s fiction. She followed up with the sequel Prepaid Mistress 2 and also revamped her ebook series Bitch Clique Reloaded into a full length action packed standalone. in 2015, Allison released an emotionally charged novel focusing on domestic violence and addiction entitled Blaque Widow.

The Yehudah Project: Federal Reserve, Marshall Law, Fema Camps,Please Listen!

    in Culture

RUMORS swirling say “Martial Law discussions over a banking system failure.” are the reason President Obama and Vice President Biden are to meet with Fed. Chair Janet Yellen today after the Federal Reserve’s Emergency Meeting this morning.  In the history of the United States, it has never before taken place that both the President AND Vice President meet “unexpectedly” with the Federal Reserve.  Speculation is already flowing all over Washington, DC that it may have something to do with “the survival of the government.”

The last time such an emergency meeting took place was in late November of last year just before the Fed raised rates for the first time, resulting in a loss of thousands of points on the Dow.  This might explain the constant jawboning by the banks to drive up equity prices the past six weeks – it may be preparation for another rate hike and another dive in stocks.  Also, keep in mind the surprise meeting between Yellen and Obama, not to mention the G20 meeting, the IMF meeting, the World Bank meeting, and the Doha meeting, all taking place the next week.  The elites seem to be preparing for an event.  Watch the news feeds carefully…
