WORLD WIDE AFRICA THE VOICE OF THE PAN AFRICAN MOVEMENT

    in Politics

Tonight Marcus Garvey's poetry will be read this is a sample of human history being told through other mediums. We started this work on Garvey's Birthday and named this week Garvey week on World Wide Africa. If we could only Unite all of the factions of Nationalist together to create a real Movemnt like the Back to Africa movement we would have successfully completed something of the dream of our forefathers. We will be working on this until it is done

The Tragedy Of White Injustice - Poem by Marcus Mosiah Garvey

    28)

And now  valiant Black men of the west

Must ably rise to lead and save the rest':

This is the ringing call Africa sounds,
    As throughout the Godly world it resounds;
Clansmen! black, educated, virile and true!
Let us prove too that we are loyal blue.
We must win in the blessed fight of love,
Trusting on the Maker of men above.

    (29)
The Christian world is yet to be saved!
Man, since the risen Christ has not behaved!
Wanton, reckless, wicked, he still remains,
Causing grief, sorrow, tears and human pains!
Can we show the Godly light to anyone
Seeking for earnest truth while marching on?
If so, friend, let us tell you now and here,
For love, freedom, justice let's all prepare!

    (30)
God in His Glorious Might is coming,
Wonderful signs He is ever showing,
Unrest, earthquakes, hurricanes, floods and storms
Are but revelations of Heavenly Forms:
The proud white scientist thinks he is wise
But the Black man's God comes in true disguise,
God is sure in the rumbling earthquake,
When He is ready, the whole world will shake.

World Wide Africa the Voice of the World/Wide African Pan African Convention

    in Politics

This episode will be about "THE WORLD/WIDE PAN AFRICAN CONVENTION OF 2015" with my Co-Host Dr. Malik Zulu Shabazz.  The discussion will be about the travel plans to Azania and Zimbabwe as well as accomidations.  This will be a Convention on Solutions to the problems of the Black African around the globe. The best way to solve our problems is to first  address them and know them well. This will give us the advantage of seeing how our people are being oppressed all over the World and how we as a Whole can make Solutions not just talk about them. How to contribute to making the lives of our People increase economiclly  and create better World for ourselves and our youth.

When some of us remember our good brother and teacher we should know what he was trying to do in the Black Community through out the world. After his visit to Africa and the to Mecca his thinking about a solution to the problems of African's in the Mother Land and Africans abroad he came up with the Idea of A unification of all Africans. In order to do this he came up with a comparative study of the hardships of Africans world wide.

After his visit to Africa and the to Mecca his thinking about a solution to the problems of African's in the Mother Land and Africans abroad he came up with the Idea of A unification of all Africans. In order to do this he came up with a comparative study of the hardships of Africans world wide. Taking form the documents that have established the control of the White Power Structure over the masses. In establishing the OAAU Malcolm, El Haji Malik Shabazz became a threat to the Economic and social order of the White Establishment.  He started a fire of unification between African's and African American's that is still burning.  The unification in ideas not just the idea of Black Consciousness but, Black Morality, Black Industry, Black Spiritualism, Black Economics, Black Culture, a complete separation of Black People from the Emulation of White People.  We will begin by Analyzing the Speech given on March 8, 1964 in the Autobahn Ball Room.

The Organization of Afro American Unity, organized and structured by a cross section of the Afro American people living in the United States of America, has been patterned after the letter and spirit of the Organization of African Unity which was established at Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, in May of 1963.

Our show today on reparations concerns the BLACK CODE laws instituted by President Andrew Johnson.  The facts are clear the BLACK CODES OR LAWS IN THE SPIRIT OF THE BLACK CODES ARE BEING IMPLEMENTED AGAINST BLACK AFRICAN PEOPLE WORLD WIDE.  The Baltimore Sun reports this and the law that upholds this type of Police Brutality in our World is a real law and follows this excerpt from an article from the Sun. The law that gives them the power to do this is called THE DELEGATED POWERS OF THE OVERSEERS ;"Thousands of people arrested by Baltimore police over the past three years have been turned away from the city's jail because their injuries are too severe, according to a new report.   Let's examine the law "Considering the judicial authority vested in the slave owner, whoever he may be (drunk or sober,) and the duty of the"sheriffs"and the public negro whippers to execute his decisions, (as already noticed,) this additional power

of delegating his magisterial dignity and authority to whomsoever (drunk or sober) he may think proper, becomes a very remarkable one. Irresponsible himself, and absolute, he commits the same authority over the slave to a subordinate despot, responsible solely to himself..........

The slave is liable to be coerced or punished by the whip, and be tormented by every species of personal I'll-treatment, subject to the exceptions already mentioned, i.e. ( the deprivation of life and limb,) by the attorney, the manager, overseer, driver, and every other person to whose government and control the owner may choose to subject him, as fully as by the owner himself.  Nor is any special mandate or express general power necessary for this purpose; it is enough that the inflict or of the violence is set over the slave for the moment, or by the owner of his delegates or sub-delegates, of whatever rank or character."  f

WORLD WIDE AFRICA THE VOICE OF THE PAN AFRICAN MOVEMENT

    in Politics

On today August 29, 2015 in Armstrong Park there is a commemoration ceremony that I participated in for those lost in Hurricane Katrina.  It has been the most uplifting part of this day to see sisters pray together from every religion unified in the spirt of love.  This is what Huey struggled so hard to make us see that the spirt of BLACK People must transcend the petty differences in every aspect of life. That racism was a wrong way to live if you were BLACK, that we should not mimic the ways of white people. To hate for the sake of difference only, and creat an environment of hate based on those differences. These are his words and they are in reference to the attitude of one who tried to hijack the Panther Party.

"When a man is consistent, you at least know what is happening and what to expect.  Stokely says one thing one day and does another thing the next?.....Stokely told me he would support anyone he did not care who if the person were black.  We consider this viewpoint both racist and suicidal." We must learn self love and self respect for ourselves and project that attitude, not an attitude of RIGHT IS MIGHT. These are learned behaviors former slave holders gave us and we need to unlearn this. The idea that every Black Man is a thug or a criminal came from this projected idea and caused the death of many during Katrina who were shot by police and National guard troops. No other race of men has been labeled in such a way as to make the eyes of the world see us as bad people who do not deserve to live. And that is what happened to our people here in New Orleans. They sent 10 thousand body bags because the Government felt it would be easier to let people here die than to save them. It would be easier to seize their land and creat a New Orleans that did not include BLACK ETHNIC communities and rebuild as a White Utopia.

BlogTalk Radio may or may not air this show tonight, if you can not hear the show please read the byline. So we can proceed with the subject matter. This is one Poem of Garvey called THE TRAGEDY OF THE WHITE MANS INJUSTICE...."

Under the canopy of Nature's law
We shall unitedly and bravely draw.
On the plains of God's green Amphitheatre,
Swords, in rhythm with Divine Meter:
Jehovah's Day will have surely come,
With Angelic strains and Seraphic hum:
The Guides of Heaven will direct the way,
Keeping us from wandering far astray.

    (34)
Like around the high walls of Jericho,
March we, as Rio speeds through Mexico:
Trumpets loud will the Guiding Angels blow.
    As scatter the enemy to-and-fro:
Heaven will have given us a battle cry:
'Oh Brave Soldiers you shall never die':
Rally to the command of Heaven's King,
As Cherubim to Him your tidings bring.

    (35)
See the deadly clash of arms! Watch! They fall!
There is stillness!-It is the funeral pall!
A sad requiem now is to be sung!
Not by Angels. but in their human tongue!
The cruel masters of yesterday are done!
From the fields of battle they have run!
A brand new world of justice is to be!
'You shall be a true brother unto me!'

    (36)
This is a forecast of God's wrath:
White man, will you turn from the evil path?
There is still hope for you, among the good:
If you will seek the bigger-brotherhood:
Stop your tricks, frauds, lying and stealing,
    And settle down to fair and square dealing;
If not, prepare yourself for gloomy hell,
As God announces the sorrowing knell.

This weeks music will be Alpha Blondie of South Africa In trying my best to keep the dialog open between Africans World Wide I have moved the time slot and the days for World Wide Africa the Voice of the Pan African Movement.  My show will air Monday's 6pm-6:30pm, Tuesday's 6pm-6:30pm Thursday's 6pm-6:30pm, Friday's 6pm-6:30pm, Saturday's 11am-11:30am and Sunday's 1pm-1:30pm.  If you are able to call in on these days please do and let us continue to break the wall of Silence set up in our African Communities that make us venerable to all kinds of madness (646)564-9987.  If we continue to study our condition and talk about solutions and implicate those same solutions as best we can in our own parts of the Globe then and only then can we expect changes.  But for us to sit around just talking and filming our problems and doing nothing to help change the situations that create the problems in the first place is Hypocritical. So call in and voice your Solutions I will be waiting to hear from all of you, even if it is just on the music.

"Garvey's ideas particularly resonated with African Americans during the postwar period. At the core of Garvey's program was an emphasis on black economic self-reliance, black people’s rights to political self-determination, and the founding of a black nation on the continent of Africa. . . .

Perhaps the largest endeavor of the UNIVERSAL NEGRO IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION (UNIA,) was the Black Star Steamship Line, an enterprise intended to provide a means for African Americans to return to Africa while also enabling black people around the Atlantic to exchange goods and services. The company’s three ships (one called the SS Frederick Douglass) were owned and operated by black people and made travel and trade possible between their United States, Caribbean, Central American, and African stops. The economically independent Black Star Line was a symbol of pride for blacks and seemed to attract more members to the UNIA

As a major figure of the Harlem Renaissance, Marcus Garvey was in the vanguard of the new awakening among African Americans. Although his philosophy was at odds with other leading figures of the era, such as W E. B. Du Bois, his influence could not be abated. Promoting his ideals in the art of oratory and through his newspapers, first Negro World and later the Blackman, Garvey has influenced almost every generation of African American writers since."  From The Oxford Companion to African American Literature. NEWTON "THE POCKET LAWYER OF LEGAL FIRST AID" some things you should know in case you are being harassed by the Pigs. In light of the present turmoil in Southern Africa we must take a look at what Hisrtory has to say about these differences.

"A deeper look at the long term differences tht have developed inthe Black Community due to the Willy Lynch Slave Brreaking Methods ised by the White Establishment in slavery and Colonization.  once I make them plain to you, you will understand wht is the problem today with African People the world over and why there is so much Black on Balck Crime.  This problem of Xonophobia, self hatred is ingrained in us because of how we were psycologolically conditioned in the past. There are 3 categories that the Jamacain Slave holder Presented to the Virginia Plantation owners on how to deal with African People and Negro Indegenous people called Indians in the Americas.  "I have outlined a number of differences among the slaves: and I take these differences an make them bigger. I use fear, distrust, and envy for control purposes.  These methods have orked on my nodest plantation in the West Indies and it will work throughout the South.  Take this simple little list of differences, and think abouth them.  On top of my list is Age, but it is there only because it starts with an A: the second is Color or Shade, there is intelligence, size, sex size of the plantations, status on the platatntion, attitude of the owners, whether the slave lives in the vally or on a hill, east, west, north, south, have fine hair, coarse hair, or is tall or short. Now that you have a list of differences.  I shall give you an outline of action-but before that I shall assure you that distrust is stronger thatn trust and envy is stronger that adulation, respect or admiration.  These are the obsticles we are faced  with in the African Community World Wide, Self hate and mistrust on each othe on issues thta should have been resloved peacably without killing one another.

For those of you who have forgotten the meaning of UNITY, this is a reminder :

In 1925, despite an appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court, Garvey was sent to the Atlanta penitentiary. His The Garvey Letter From an Atlanta Prison is dated February 10, 1925, and excerpted below as follows:

Fellow Men of the Negro Race Greetings

I am delighted to inform you, that your humble servant is as happy in suffering for you and our cause as is possible under the circumstances of being viciously outraged by a group of plotters who have connived to do their worst to humiliate you through me, in fight for real emancipation and African Redemption.

I do not want at this time to write anything that would make it difficult for you to meet the opposition of your enemy without my assistance. Suffice to say that the history of the outrage shall form a splendid chapter in the history of Africa redeemed. When black man will no longer be under the heels of others, but have a civilization and culture of their own.

The whole affair is a disgrace, and the whole black world knows it. We shall not forget. Our day may be fifty, a hundred or two hundred years ahead, let us watch, work, and pray, for the civilization of injustice is bound to crumble and bring destruction down upon the heads of the unjust.

My work is just begun, and when the history of my suffering is complete, then the future generations of the Negro will have in their hands the guide by which they shall know the “sins” of the twentieth century. I, and I know you, too, believe in time, and we shall wait patiently for two hundred years, if need be, to face our enemies through our prosperity."

    THE HANDS OF ETHIOPIA

"With the Renaissance and widened world of modern thought Africa came no less suddenly with her new-old gift, Shakespeare's "Ancient Pistol " cries: A fortune for the world and worldlings base! I speak of Africa and golden joys!

He echoes a legend of Gold from the day's of Punt and Ophir to those of Ghana, the Gold Coast, and the Rand. This thought sent the worlds greed scurrying down the hot, mysterious coast of Africa to the Good Hope of gain, until for the first time a real world -commerce was born, albeit it started as a commerce mainly in bodies and souls of men.

The present problems of problems is nothing more than democracy beating itself helplessly against the color bar, purling, seeping seething, foaming  to burst through, ever and again overwhelming the emerging masses of white men in it's rolling backwaters and held back by those who dream of future kingdoms of greed built on black and brown and yellow slavery.

The indictment of Africa against Europe is grave. For four hundred years white Europe was chief support of that trade in human beings which first and las robbed Black Africa of a hundred million human beings, transformed the face of her social life, overthrew organized government, distorted ancient industry, and snuffed out the lights of cultural development. today instead of removing laborers from Africa to distant slavery, industry built on a new slavery approaches Africa to deprive the natives of their land, to force them to toil and reap all their profit for the white world." W.E.B. DU BOIS
