The TalentCulture #TChat Show is back live on Wednesday, August 20, 2014, from 7-8 pm ET (4-5 pm PT). The #TChat radio portion runs the first 30 minutes from 7-7:30 pm ET, followed by the #TChat Twitter chat from 7:30-8 pm ET.
Last week we talked about how data analyses can help companies understand and measure company culture, and this week we’ll extend that conversation to how to survive a poor company culture.
Of course company culture and cultural fit have a huge impact on day-to-day happiness. Being able to identify when a culture is turning bad, and what we can do about it, are obviously critical skills for managing our career happiness.
Culture originates with leadership values and the core business mission, and then flows from the people inside an organization do with all of that, and eventually with what meaning is attached to all those continuously evolving behaviors.
When the accepted collective behaviors lead to conflict and strife, we’ve got a bad culture on our hands. Lots of things that can create a bad culture, but all of them can be summed up by three factors we’re going to discuss this week on the show.
Join #TChat co-creators and hosts Meghan M. Biro and Kevin W. Grossman as we learn more about how to identify, survive, or leave a poor company culture with this week’s guests: Anuj Shah, Co-Founder of Traba; and Michael Flynn, Head of Marketing at Traba. Traba mentors know how companies choose candidates and walk you through the best way to tell your story for landing interviews and jobs.

Tonight on Unspoken Words Robert Dunn, Abby Fleming and Chase Paysinger discuss Millennials and Marriage! As countless articles bemoan, Millennials have so far "divorced marriage." Only 26 percent of Millennials have tied the knot, compared to 36 percent of Gen Xers at our same age and nearly half of Baby Boomers when they were in their twenties. Among those between 18 and 24, the numbers are even lower. Millennials are waiting longer to go down the aisle, leading to the lowest marriage rate in six decades. And Millennial views on the end of marriage are more likely to differ significantly from previous generations, too.

The Neanderthal or Neandertal (named after the Neandertal area) was a species of human in the genus Homo that became extinct between 41,000 and 39,000 years ago. (So they say). They were closely related to MODERN humans, differing in DNA by just 0.12%. Remains left by Neanderthals include bone and stone tools, which are found in Eurasia, from Western Europe to Central and Northern Asia and the Middle East. The Neanderthal is generally classified by biologists as the species Homo neanderthalensis, but a minority considers them to be a subspecies of Homo sapiens (Homo sapiens neanderthalensis). Several cultural assemblages have been linked to the Neanderthals in Europe. The earliest, the Mousterian stone tool culture, dates to about 300,000 years ago. Late Mousterian artifacts were found in Gorham's Cave on the south-facing coast of Gibraltar. Please vibe with us as we show you how the very race that tried to keep us down actually are cave animals and their people we uncivilized to the point were Blacks had to show them how to bath, eat and live. Find out who the cave people are and what were they doing in those caves. Whats there true nature and where are they now?
In this episode of ODWIRA we examine HOODOO NHWEHWEMU, Hoodoo Analysis, which incorporates knowledge of our Ancestral cosmology, culture and ritual practice as a foundation for deciphering texts from our ancient and contemporary Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African) Ancestral Cultures as well as life in general. We must employ a truly holistic approach to gathering, processing and disseminating information relevant to our people. This holism can only be rooted in our capacity to align ourselves ritually with the Abosom (Deities) Who are the Embodiments of Divine Order in Creation. Hoodoo Nhwehwemu, Hoodoo Analysis, allows us to see and put forward accurate information that those who are eurocentrists or eurocentrists in black-face consistently misunderstand or overlook.
