We have great networks to draw from, alumni networks, church networks, professional networks, our children's school networks, parent's and sibling's network, even gym networks. At first, we get so excited about being part of these groups and being part of something wonderful, personally or professionally, but too many times we find ourselves leaving corporate meetings, dinners, pool parties, children’s functions, and random events empty handed and missing out on opportunities because we didn’t know how to build rapport and leverage our connections.
